A civil servant, Orayelu Vincent on Tuesday dragged his wife, Comfort before a Customary Court in jikwoyi Abuja, over alleged threat to kill his only son.
Vincent, in his divorce petition, said:” after my wife absconded with my son, I got information that she had taken him to her sister’s house, on getting there, I requested to have my son back, my wife and her older sister vowed that instead of giving me back my son they will rather kill him.
“It is on this grounds that I seek court to dissolve the marriage between us,” he said.
He told the court that his sister in-law suddenly turned against him.
The respondent, Comfort who was present in court denied all the allegations.
The presiding judge, Mr Labaran Gusau, adjourned the matter until Feb. 9, for further hearing
