Gunmen abduct secondary school students in Niger

Unknown gunmen at the early hours of Wednesday, February 17, 2021, have abducted some students of Government Boys Secondary School, Kagara, the headquarters of Rafi local government area of Niger state, killing one student during the operation while some teachers escaped unhurt.

Meanwhile, number of the abducted students has not been ascertained as at time of filing this report.

Recall that recently over 300 students of the Government Boys Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State were abducted in a similar manner, but were later released after some days.
