Saidu Kurku has rated Governor Abdullahi Sule of the State supreme so far in areas of initiation and the execution of various developmental programmes and projects that have impacted positively on the lives of the people.Assessing the developmental strides of the Governor while speaking with newsmen in his office at Garaku, the headquarters of the local government during the week, the chairman stated that so far so good the Governor has lived up to the expectations of people with the developmental projects and programmes put in place across the state.
“I can state authoritatively that so far so good Governor Abdullahi Sule has scored more than 90 per cent in taking the state to the next level of developmental activities as well as the peaceful co-existence, unity and harmony being enjoyed by the people across the state”, he stated.
The Chairman then expressed the delight that his local government area is the first beneficiary of the Governor’s developmental projects because it was there building of classroom blocks at Angwan Jarmai was completed as well as flag off the enlightenment programme against flooding among others.
He stated that what is more gladdening is that similar projects and programmes were being replicated across the state especially in the areas of education, water supplies, transparency roads infrastructure, improvements of health care services among others.
Kurki who congratulated the Governor for the remarkable success he has recorded so far however advised him to continue with the tempo so as to take the state to an enviable position.
He therefore assured him and the states government of the continued support and co-operations of people of his local government to enable him succeed in taking the state to the next level of development.
To the people of his local government, the Chairman appealed to them to continue to remain peaceful and law abiding to the constituted authorities, assuring that on his part the council would continue to be committed to their socio-economic wellbeing to the best of its abilities.
