Following the increasing cases of coronavirus already recorded in Nigeria, the State of Israel has started picking their citizens living in Nigeria back to their country through chartered flight.
According to report, the evacuation started on Sunday, March 29 at Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos using Air Peace aircraft; the plane did a stopover at the Nnamadi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja where it picked more passengers before taking off to Israel.
According to the General Manager, Public Affairs of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Henrietta Yakubu, the aircraft departed at about 1:00pm yesterday to Israel.
As at the time of filing this report, Nigeria has recorded about 111 cases of the global pandemic with one death.
