The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mallam Mohammad Musa Bello has approved the call from different quarters for schools to be shut down as part of the efforts to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
On Thursday, March 19, 2020, the FCTA ordered closure of schools from Friday, March 20, 2020. Social and religious activities are to be restricted.
Shopping malls and other large business premises without sanitizers and other safety measures are to be shut down immediately.
Coronavirus cases has risen to 12 with eight just within this week, which led to the closure of schools in Lagos.
