Luck already going the way of the suspended chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, seeking the suspension of the proposed meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) has prevailed as the said meeting has been suspended indefinitely.
Following the suspension of Oshiomhole by FCT High Court sitting in Abuja, the ruling APC has been enmeshed in serious power tussle, which necessitated the call for the meeting slated to hold on Tuesday, March 17, meeting
But in a meeting of President Muhammadu Buhari and governors elected on the platform of the political party known as the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) held at the State House today, decision to suspend the meeting was taken.
It was earlier reported that a High Court Monday approved Chief Victor Giadom as acting national chairman of the APC ahead of the key emergency meeting of NEC to hold on Tuesday in Abuja.
Giadom, the party’s Deputy National Secretary, who is the highest ranking official, has been leading the party since the High Court in the FCT ordered Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to vacate office as National Chairman following his suspension by the party in Edo State, his home state.
