The seven-man panel led by Justice Mary Peter-Odili of the Supreme Court has on Wednesday, December 18, upheld the election of Abdullahi Alhaji Sule of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as governor of Nasarawa State in the election of March 9, 2019.
The court dismissed the appeal of a former House of Representatives member and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Honourable David Umbugadu.
On Tuesday, November 12, the Court of Appeal in Makurdi, Benue State, earlier upheld the election of the governor. The court also set aside the appeal filed by Umbugadu of PDP.
