Presidential spokesman, Mr.Femi Adesina has insisted that there is no plan by President Muhammadu Buhari to marry a new wife as it is widely speculated both at the mainstream and social media. The said marriage is said should be consummated on Friday, October 11, after Jumat service.
Adesina made this known to the press describing the rumour as a deceptive manoeuvre by those who reportedly fabricated it, and called on Nigerians not to take it serious as nothing of such is taking place.
Another source further revealed that the said bride of the president, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq is not even in Nigeria, let alone attending her wedding in Abuja as claimed.
Sadiya Umar Farouq, whom the rumour claimed the president is set to marry is not in Nigeria. According to a tweet posted via her handle, @Sadiya_farouq, in the early hours of Friday, she is currently in New York promoting a UN campaign against poverty.
Meanwhile, another video has emerged claiming that Firstlady Aisha Buhari was being confined inside a parlour in the Presidential Villa. The voice in the video, claimed to be that of Aisha was questioning why she was locked up despite the presence of over 200 soldiers guarding the villa.
